We’re partnering with a leading proprietary trading firm seeking an experienced Core Development Lead to drive the evolution of their low-latency trading infrastructure. This team sits at the heart of the firm’s technology stack — engineering the systems that power global execution, market connectivity, and performance at microsecond scale.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of the firm’s core C++ trading systems, latency-sensitive infrastructure, and exchange gateways.
- Architect and optimize performance-critical components including order routing, market data processing, and messaging frameworks.
- Collaborate closely with traders, quant developers, and network engineers to align technology architecture with trading strategy requirements.
- Champion engineering excellence through rigorous code review, testing standards, and performance tuning.
- Mentor and guide a small team of high-performing developers, shaping best practices in modern C++ and systems-level design
