Description
We are partnering with a leading quantitative trading firm operating one of the most advanced GPU and HPC environments in the industry. This is a senior leadership position focused on architectural ownership, large-scale distributed systems, and performance-critical infrastructure.
The platform spans multiple global data centres and supports mission-critical research and trading workloads where reliability, latency, and scale are fundamental.
This role is suited to engineers currently operating hyperscale GPU infrastructure within major technology companies, research institutions, or high-performance computing environments.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the architecture and evolution of large-scale GPU and HPC infrastructure
Drive performance engineering initiatives across compute, storage, and networking layers
Oversee the scaling of next-generation GPU clusters across multiple global sites
Diagnose and resolve complex distributed workload bottlenecks
Partner closely with hardware vendors, including NVIDIA, on platform optimisation
Develop and implement automation strategies across large Linux estates
Mentor and guide senior systems engineers
Contribute to long-term infrastructure strategy and capacity planning
Required Skills
