We are partnering with a leading quantitative trading firm operating a globally distributed research and trading platform. The firm manages one of the most sophisticated HPC environments in the industry, including storage infrastructure exceeding 100 petabytes.
This role sits within a highly technical infrastructure team responsible for designing, operating, and evolving large-scale storage systems that support AI/ML research and performance-critical trading workloads running 24/7 worldwide.
This is an opportunity to play a key role in shaping the future direction of storage architecture within a serious HPC environment.
Key Responsibilities
Design, deploy, and manage large-scale storage platforms supporting HPC and research workloads
Architect distributed file system solutions for performance, redundancy, and high availability
Troubleshoot complex issues across storage, operating systems, and networking layers
Develop automation and monitoring tools to improve performance and reliability of storage clusters
Evaluate and test emerging storage technologies and hardware
Support large-scale AI/ML and distributed compute workloads
Contribute to long-term storage strategy and capacity planning
Required Skills
