Description
The firm is looking for a Hardware Engineer to design and develop high-performance, hardware-based trading systems, from ultra-low-latency algorithms to high-bandwidth computational platforms.
Its engineers are true engineers—not simply coders. They work directly with traders and software engineers to understand complex business problems, identify the right solutions, and deliver simple, robust systems that create measurable impact.
Key Responsibilities

Design and develop FPGA- and ASIC-based solutions for network infrastructure and trading systems.

Accelerate trading-system components through high-speed hardware architectures and ultra-low-latency designs.

Research emerging low-latency techniques, hardware platforms, and implementation methodologies.

Identify opportunities to integrate new technologies into production trading systems.

Develop, test, verify, and optimise RTL designs for performance, timing, reliability, and resource utilisation.

Work closely with traders, software engineers, infrastructure engineers, and hardware specialists.
Required Skills

A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical discipline.

Experience designing, coding, testing, and verifying FPGA and/or ASIC systems.

Strong experience with VHDL, Verilog, and/or SystemVerilog.

Proficiency in C or C++.

Experience with RTL synthesis and writing timing, area, and other implementation constraints.

Experience using digital simulators and developing self-checking test benches.
