Machine Learning Engineer
We’re seeking a talented Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our client in San Francisco and drive our data-driven approach to pharmaceutical innovation.
The Role:
As a Senior Machine Learning Engineer, you’ll be at the forefront of developing AI-powered solutions that accelerate drug discovery, optimize clinical trials, and enhance patient outcomes. You’ll work with state-of-the-art technologies to create intelligent systems that define the next generation of pharmaceutical research and development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and deploy machine learning models using Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks
- Utilize MLflow for efficient model management and experimentation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of data scientists, biologists, and chemists to integrate ML solutions into our drug discovery pipeline
- Develop intuitive user interfaces using React for data visualization and model interaction
- Optimize model performance and ensure scalability for processing large-scale biological and chemical datasets
- Stay current with the latest ML trends and technologies in the pharmaceutical sector
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 5+ years of experience in machine learning engineering, data science, or a related field
- Proven experience with Azure cloud services, particularly Azure Machine Learning and Azure Databricks
- Familiarity with MLflow for model management and experimentation
- Strong proficiency in React for frontend development
- Expert-level Python skills for machine learning and data analysis
- In-depth knowledge of machine learning algorithms, statistical modeling, and data structures
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker)
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong problem-solving mindset and a proactive attitude towards learning and self-improvement
