Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and improve FPGA-based systems used within the firm’s trading technology.
- Work with software, hardware and infrastructure engineers to deliver reliable solutions.
- Translate technical requirements into practical FPGA designs.
- Test, troubleshoot and optimise FPGA implementations.
- Contribute to the development of tools and processes that improve system performance and reliability.
- Support the integration of FPGA solutions with wider software and hardware platforms.
Required Skills
- FPGA development in a professional engineering environment.
- Digital design and hardware development.
- Verilog, SystemVerilog, VHDL or a similar hardware-description language.
- Testing, debugging and improving FPGA-based systems.
- Working with software, firmware or hardware engineering teams.
- Understanding technical requirements and delivering robust solutions.
