Description
We’re looking for a Hardware Engineer to join a small, highly specialised team building custom hardware from the ground up for global trading infrastructure.
This is not your typical hardware role. You’ll design, prototype, and deploy high-speed networking devices used in live trading environments, contributing directly to performance-critical systems that shape market connectivity worldwide
Key Responsibilities
- Designing advanced PCB systems for cutting-edge networking platforms.
- Working across the full lifecycle: concept, prototype, validation, and production.
- Collaborating with ASIC and FPGA engineers to develop custom hardware architectures.
- Defining thermal, power, and system-level designs for deployment in global data centres.
- Bringing up and testing high-performance digital systems.
- Partnering with vendors and manufacturers to scale production successfully.
Required Skills
- Deep expertise in high-speed digital design.
- Hands-on experience with PCB design tools (Altium preferred).
- Strong understanding of signal integrity and power integrity.
- Background in prototype bring-up and validation for complex hardware systems.
- Comfortable working across hardware and low-level systems integration.
Preferred Qualifications
This role is ideal for engineers coming from hardware design firms or smaller, agile engineering environments who want to work on more complex and performance-critical systems driving global trading infrastructure.
