Description
The company is seeking a Lead Infrastructure Engineer to lead the design, automation, and operation of internal infrastructure platforms. The role is fully internal, serving internal business and engineering teams, and requires a strong engineering mindset combined with hands‑on technical expertise and leadership.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the design and delivery of scalable, reliable infrastructure across Windows‑based environments.

Develop and maintain automation and tooling using Python or PowerShell, applying engineering best practices such as modular design, version control, and automated testing.

Implement and manage infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Provide technical leadership to the infrastructure team, setting standards for code quality, deployment, and operational resilience.

Mentor and develop engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and strong engineering discipline.

Collaborate with platform, security, and engineering teams to align infrastructure with business and technical requirements.

Own incident response and problem management, ensuring sustainable and systemic fixes rather than workarounds.
Required Skills

Strong experience in scripting and automation using Python or PowerShell, with a focus on production‑grade, maintainable solutions.

Proven experience with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform or Ansible.

Solid understanding of Windows systems and core infrastructure components (Active Directory, networking, storage, virtualization).

Demonstrated leadership experience, ideally including direct team management; otherwise, substantial technical leadership and mentorship of engineers.

Clear engineering mindset: designs for repeatability, testability, and maintainability rather than manual or ad‑hoc fixes.

Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders at multiple levels.
