Description
We’re looking for a hands‑on Network Engineer to own day‑to‑day operations and lead new deployments across our core and edge networks. You’ll design, build, and run scalable IP networks with deep expertise in BGP routing and multicast services, ensuring high availability, performance, and security for critical workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Deploy and operate large‑scale IP networks (data centre, campus, and/or edge), including greenfield builds and brownfield migrations.
- Design, implement, and troubleshoot BGP architectures (eBGP/iBGP, route reflectors, path control, communities, prefix limits, graceful restart).
- Implement and support multicast solutions (PIM‑SM/SSM, IGMP, MSDP, any‑cast RP, multicast monitoring and troubleshooting).
- Automate provisioning and change management using tools such as Ansible, Python, Terraform, or vendor APIs.
- Own incident management, root‑cause analysis, and continuous improvement for network reliability and performance.
Required Skills
- 4+ years’ experience in network engineering with a strong focus on deployments and operations.
- Expert‑level knowledge of BGP in production environments (multi‑vendor, multi‑AS, traffic engineering).
- Proven experience designing and supporting IP multicast in complex networks.
- Strong command of Cisco IOS‑XE/NX‑OS, Juniper Junos, or Arista EOS; CCNP/CCIE, JNCIP/JNCIE, or equivalent.
