Description
We’re seeking an experienced RF Engineer to design, optimize, and maintain high‑performance wireless and microwave networks that underpin the firm’s global trading systems. You’ll play a critical role in developing and supporting point‑to‑point links that minimize latency between major financial exchanges and data centers.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, deploy, and maintain microwave and millimeter‑wave (MMW) wireless links for low‑latency trading connectivity.
- Conduct RF propagation modeling, link budget analysis, and path profiling to ensure optimal performance and reliability.
- Optimize antenna configurations, alignments, and frequency usage to reduce latency and interference across regions.
- Collaborate with network, hardware, and software engineering teams to integrate RF infrastructure into the broader trading network.
Required Skills
- Proven background in RF or microwave network design, preferably within trading, telecoms, or defense sectors.
- Proficiency with RF planning and simulation tools
- Experience with tower site selection, line‑of‑sight surveys, and environmental assessments.
- Solid understanding of low‑latency network principles and signal propagation theory.
- Strong documentation, troubleshooting, and analytical skills.
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field.
