We’re looking for a Core Development Engineer to join a global trading technology team that designs, builds, and maintains critical systems and infrastructure. This team combines software engineering, hardware engineering, data science, and research to deliver reliable technology solutions that support operational and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and design effective technical solutions
- Design, develop, test, deploy, and support reliable software applications
- Conduct comprehensive testing to ensure accuracy, stability, and minimise operational risk
- Contribute to a positive working environment and build strong relationships across the team
- Carry out other duties as required
Required Skills
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- At least 2 years of experience with Python, with strong Python development skills
- Experience working in a Linux environment
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with a strong sense of ownership
- Highly detail-oriented, with a strong commitment to testing, reliability, and quality assurance
