Description
A leading scale up, crypto market-making firm is looking for an experienced C++ Developer to join its trading technology team.
You will design, build and optimise high-performance software used across market data, pricing, execution and risk management. Working closely with quantitative researchers, traders and infrastructure engineers, you will help develop systems that operate across global cryptocurrency markets where performance, reliability and scalability are critical.
This role is suited to a developer who enjoys solving complex engineering problems, working with real-time data and optimising systems at both the software and hardware level.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop and maintain high-performance C++ trading systems.
- Build and optimise components across market data, pricing, order management, execution and risk.
- Develop low-latency connectivity to cryptocurrency exchanges and trading venues.
- Process real-time market data from multiple exchanges and liquidity providers.
- Improve system performance through profiling, benchmarking and optimisation.
- Work with quantitative researchers to implement pricing, trading and market-making strategies.
Required Skills
- Modern C++ standards, including C++17, C++20 or later.
- Multithreading, concurrency and lock-free programming.
- Linux and systems-level development.
- TCP/IP, UDP, WebSockets and exchange connectivity.
- High-throughput market-data processing.
- Low-latency messaging and inter-process communication.
- Performance profiling using tools such as
perf, flame graphs, sanitizers and benchmarking frameworks. - Python for research, tooling or integration.
